Greenbrier Mall - Chesapeake Virginia

There is the Inside Room well hidden within the halls of the Mall. The Inside Room is where Santa and Mrs Claus change, eat and rest. It is also the room where supplies for the Santa Set are stored. In most cases the room is 'nice', but the location is not known to many. Santa has included a few pictures such that you can have a look at the such a location.

Then, of course there is the Public Throne. Such a Throne Room is in the Center Court of the Mall. The Mall Elves always do a great job at making the 'Public Throne' of Santa Mrs Claus look great, and always do a great job. Just for your information the tree behind the chairs is some 35 feet tall. Here are some other pictures.

The Center Court Throne Room is, of course a delightful place. But it has been put in place as a place for Santa and Mrs Claus to meet and talk with all the wonderful children. Ya know what, however even Santa does not operate without 'bosses'.

'Bosses' are great folks, but they do not do the work alone. There are many folks in the background. Santa did not get pictures of many of these helpers such as: House Keeping - Maintenance - Security and many others. He did, however get a picture of some key folks in the Mall Office.

Santa did, however take a whole bunch of pictures of 'Santa's Elves' while they did their duties. Many of the pictures, because of the skylights in the Mall were taken with extreme backlighting. Thus, they are rather dark. Hope that you will enjoy, they just take a little consentration before one can tell what is taking place. Many of the pictures were taken without knowledge of the Elves.

The packing for and trip from the North, the establishment of a Home Station Forward, the establishment of the Throne Room, recognizing 'Bosses' arrangement for Helper Elves was not the reason for the trip.
