Spring 2007 came
rather late to
the Home Station in 2007. The ole Winter sort of hung around.
However, once it came all was A'OK. Ma finished her
Chemo
Treatment late March. The bladder cancer did not show on the
CAT
Scan, but was still present as the result of a biopsy. Mid
July
she underwent surgery at Ingham Medical Center. That surgery
reveled that the cancer was 'badly damaged' as the result of Radiation
and Chemo Treatments. The Doctors rerouted the kidney tube,
removed the tube from her back. She still her bladder, and no
longer has tubes. Her recovery is going well. The
Doctors
have stated that the remaining cancer, if any is not life threating.
Thus, it seems that old age has won.
We and the extended family did not hide out during the Spring of 2007.
A whole lot of activity took place. Just to name a
few:
Ma had a wig - A nice Spring and Summer did come - There was
a
Wedding - An Engagement Party - Buildings were erected - Other
buildings are under plan - Flowers were planted -- and, of
course
there were the critters, this year turkeys.o
Not only that some pictures from Italy arrived - oh those many years
ago. Phil from Alabama sent along the pictures
